I am committed to saving Florida

I discovered that the beach across the street is where the sea turtles nest each spring. I have seen ospreys nesting next door in a pine tree and great blue herons hanging out next to the local fishermen. The Indian River Lagoon is an area where manatees are seen and it is so rich with butterflies and other birdlife – I am overwhelmed by the variety I am able to enjoy. This is a very unique area. The tourists come here to see Fiddler crabs scuttle around on the beach. Everyone is so committed to saving our natural treasures that we all have voted on a 1/2 cent sales tax to go toward keeping our nature intact. I also am committed to saving it as it is not found anywhere else!
