Mayor Gillum’s environmental plan reflects a pragmatic and ambitious approach to protecting our environment for Florida’s families and future generations. His plan will put Florida on track to become an innovative clean energy leader and coordinate our energy policy with the most critical environmental challenge of our times: climate change. Mayor Gillum will restore the integrity of agencies charged with safeguarding our waters, hold polluters accountable, and proactively address problems like red tide and algae blooms before they cause more widespread damage to our environment and economy.
