FCV is appalled by the decision of the United States Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, eliminating the constitutional right to abortion after almost 50 years. But we know the fight for reproductive justice is not over. Overturning Roe will devastate low-income and rural communities and communities of color who already face significant barriers to accessing healthcare and are the same groups most harmed by pollution, climate change, and environmental injustices. The Florida Constitution has strong protections for privacy, and we stand with our reproductive justice partners in ensuring that reproductive rights and healthcare are protected and available to all.
